Product Features
This Festo VAS heavy-duty suction cup series adopts premium industrial rubber integral molding technology, with uniform material texture, strong compression resistance and excellent fatigue resistance, capable of stable operation in long-term high-load and high-frequency working conditions without deformation or cracking. It features complete size coverage of 30mm, 55mm, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm, forming a full-range specification system to realize one-stop matching for small, medium and large heavy workpieces. Diversified high-performance material options are available: NBR material delivers outstanding oil resistance and universal industrial adaptability, while SI silicone material supports high and low temperature resistance and food-grade clean application scenarios. The exclusive internal cavity structure minimizes vacuum suction time, improves response efficiency, and effectively absorbs holding force and transverse shear force, solving the slipping problem of smooth and oiled workpieces in high-speed movement. The smooth polished suction surface leaves minimal marks on shiny and precision workpieces, ensuring no damage to finished products. All models adopt unified standard thread mounting interfaces, with high compatibility with Festo vacuum generators and mainstream domestic and foreign automated pneumatic equipment, supporting quick disassembly, replacement and on-site maintenance.
Product Advantages
First, authentic Festo industrial quality. Strictly manufactured in accordance with Festo's industrial standards, with stable performance, high structural rigidity and long service life, far exceeding ordinary civilian suction cups, reducing equipment failure rate. Second, excellent heavy-load bearing capacity. Optimized suction cavity and thickened rubber structure provide powerful and uniform suction force, effectively bearing medium and heavy workpieces, with strong anti-shear and anti-slip ability. Third, superior oil & environment resistance. Professional industrial rubber formula adapts to oily workshop, variable temperature and dusty industrial environments, maintaining stable sealing and suction performance in harsh working conditions. Fourth, full-size one-stop matching. Complete 30-125mm specifications cover almost all conventional heavy-duty automation gripping scenarios, simplifying customer procurement and spare parts inventory management. Fifth, high dynamic working efficiency. Fast vacuum response and stable negative pressure output adapt to high-speed automated cyclic operation, effectively improving production line operating efficiency and operational stability.
How to Use
First, select the corresponding VAS model size and material according to the workpiece weight, surface condition and working environment. Choose NBR for conventional oily industrial scenes and silicone for high-temperature or food-grade clean scenarios. Inspect the rubber cup body for cracks, aging, wear and elasticity attenuation before installation. Second, thoroughly clean the suction cup fitting surface and workpiece surface to remove oil stains, dust, metal debris and oxide layers, ensuring full close fitting to avoid vacuum air leakage. Third, align the standard thread interface of the suction cup with the pneumatic connector of the robotic arm or vacuum equipment, screw and lock it firmly to prevent loosening and air leakage caused by long-term high-frequency vibration. Fourth, connect the vacuum pipeline and perform idle air tightness test, check the vacuum response speed and overall sealing performance, and adjust the vacuum pressure to the optimal range for heavy-load workpieces. Fifth, conduct trial gripping operation, verify stable adsorption without slipping, shaking or workpiece surface damage, and confirm normal operation under dynamic high-speed movement. Sixth, start formal automated mass production after passing the trial run. For daily maintenance, regularly clean residual oil stains and dust on the suction cup surface, check rubber elasticity and structural integrity, and replace the suction cup in a timely manner if suction weakens, sealing fails or material aging occurs.
